When Aaron's father and mother were out in their garden

working on their secret ingredients for the esoteric brands

of candy -

Aaron was not supposed to go into the candy manufacturing

rooms.

His parents grew special fruit

for the esoteric candy.

More ESOTERIC fruit

Aaron knew better, he knew he wasn't suppossed to go into the candy manufacturing area,

but he couldn't read very well and he rationalized

going in for a sneak peek by thinking to himself-

"I'm not sure I can read that

'Aaron, please stay out unless attended by us!'

sign."

Each time the boy broke the rule - he went a little farther

into the off limits areas.

"This won't be bad",the boy thought to himself, "it was safe

the last hundred times."

He had never ventured into the like marshmallow room

but on this occasion the smell was too scrumptious to resist.

"CREAK" "Squeeek",the door went as the intruder sniffed the

wonderful aroma and followed his sense of smell

right into the most dangerous place in the cottage.

The boy stood on his tip toes to see better - but he couldn't

get high enough.

He was trying to see the pot full of candy where the tantalizing smell

was coming from.

The new batch was almost ready for pouring into the big

container where it would stay until aged to perfection.

There was a rope hanging down just to one side of the batch- it

had a handle on it.

"Maybe I can jump up and grab the rope and handle

and hang there for a second and get a look and a better smell",planned

the lad.

Up he went - grabbing the rope handle - but to his great surprise -

he came back down -fast-.

Pulling down the handle started the like marshmallow batch

flowing down into the container he had fallen into.

At first it felt good and smelled super -

but then he realized he was being soaked and covered with the gooey

candy batch.

He got scared - "I'm goin down!", he yelled.

"Help,I'm drowning and choking",he screamed.

Fortunately the sticky thick substance stopped before his head

was covered.

Just then Aaron's mom and dad rushed into the room.

They pulled their son to safety - but not before he was stuck right

in the middle of a really big like marshmallow.

The boy could only move his elbows and hands and bend his knees -

the rest of him was immobilized.

His parents were scared, then mad and then they laughed because

their son looked so silly.

It only took a few minutes before they realized how costly the

misadventure would be.

Aaron's dad wanted to spank him, but of course that wouldn't work

because the lad was encased in like marshmallow.

Then he thought of a plan to save the money and teach Aaron a lesson.

"Aaron - we're going to make a sign for you. You are

going to walk up and down main street selling 25¢ bites until you're reduced

to a normal sized boy."

It was a good plan and it only took half a day.

From that time on,Aaron realized how important it is to

mind your parents.

The Bible tells us to be obedient to God and parents.

Jesus said - if you love me, you'll mind me.
